Peter Odemwingie’s performances in front of goal for West Brom this season have generated interest from Newcastle and Juventus in the former Lokomotive Moscow striker, according to Sky Sports.

In his first season in the Premier League the Nigerian has found the back of the net an impressive twelve times, including a debut goal in the 1-0 win over Sunderland.

Odemwingie’s eye for goal hasn’t gone unnoticed and if Juventus lodge a bid for the 29 year old in the summer, regardless of whether the Baggies avoid the drop, it will test Odemwingie’s resolve.

When questioned about his future, the West Brom front man made his feelings on the matter perfectly clear, “My focus is to save West Brom, I scored at the weekend but we lost – that is not good. The most important thing is to beat relegation and nothing else.”

With five games to go West Brom are six points clear of the trapdoor. With local derbies against Aston Villa and Wolves to come, Odemwingie is focused on ensuring West Brom survive the drop rather than where he will be playing next season.
